"Though it is often called the "largest democracy on earth," Indian foreign policy remains under-theorized. This timely volume, therefore, represents a significant contribution to the literature. Historical, analytical, cultural, and critical insights can all be found within its pages. Scholars of Indian politics as well as Foreign Policy Analysis will find the diverse chapters very useful as they attempt to parse Indian foreign policy." - Valerie M. Hudson, Texas A&M University"After the new wave of Indian foreign policy scholarship that brought archival research and frameworks of international and global history to bear on the subject, this volumes presages a second new wave of scholarship, combining theory, eclectic methods, and rich empirics. Vigorous, insightful, and ranging over historical and contemporary foreign policy cases, this is a stimulating addition to the emerging literature on India's external relations and policies." - Kanti Bajpai, Wilmar Chair in Asian Studies, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore

The file format PDF always displays a book page identically on any hardware. This makes PDF suitable for complex layouts such as those used in textbooks and reference books (images, tables, columns, footnotes). Unfortunately, on the small screens of e-readers or smartphones, PDFs are rather annoying, requiring too much scrolling.
This eBook uses Adobe-DRM, a „hard” copy protection. If the necessary requirements are not met, unfortunately you will not be able to open the eBook. You will therefore need to prepare your reading hardware before downloading.
