Awad S. Hanna is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The recipient of two teaching and industry awards, he is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Concrete Institute, and the American Society of Engineering Educators. Dr. Hanna received the B.Sc. degree (1974) in civil engineering from Cairo University, Egypt, and the M.Sc. (1985) and Ph.D. (1989) degrees in civil engineering from Pennsylvania State University, University Park.
