John Hammond is a down to earth, no-nonsense businessman. Through hard work and determination, he rose from humble beginnings to reach the top of his profession and to provide for his family. When, at the age of fifty, he lost his adoptive father to cancer, he had no idea that his life would be changed forever.
Three days after his dad passed away, John returned from work and walked into his bedroom to see lights reflecting all over the walls. As he looked towards his wardrobe, the floor appeared to be transparent. Through it, he saw a mirror ball in the ceiling of an old, smoky dance hall and looking beyond, he could see his mum and dad on the dance floor. They were young, dressed in wartime clothes, and so in love. This was the start of an unexpected psychic journey that would lead John to amazing conclusions.
After the loss of his adoptive mum, John began the long search for his birth parents.
The Adoption Order is an exceptional account of one man's journey of self discovery.
