Infinitely Small Things

When Caspar wakes up in the emergency room, again, after attempting suicide, again, he can't look away from a wrinkled old woman with bright pink glasses. Before Caspar realizes it, an unexpected friendship takes root. Ansa is about to die, on her own terms, when she meets a young man named after a friendly ghost. Once she gets to know Caspar, she vows to help him find a purpose to live, before her own time runs out.

Then there is Tessa, the recreation therapist who works on the palliative care floor at St. Bartholomew's Hospital in County Cork, Ireland. When the Hospital administration threatens to end Tessa's career, Caspar and Ansa devise a plan to help the woman- and wind up finding themselves and each other along the way.

What begins with awkward exchanges and strange friendships quickly becomes an urgent need to save one another from a life unlived.
