'At last we have a book making sense of practice-based approaches to research in art and design. This should be essential reading for all masters and doctoral students in the field.' Professor Rachel Cooper, Director, Adelphi Research Institute for Creative Arts and Sciences, University of Salford, UK. 'It is written in a warm, refreshing and stimulating style...the writing style employed by the authors is very readable and, throughout the book, illustrations are used to good effect...The six chapters that make up this book cover a wide range of issues...A number of different techniques for data reduction and data presentation are considered...Although this book is intended to be a support aid for research students in Art and Design, there is a considerable amount of generic material embedded within it...it would make useful reading for other students embarking on research projects in other disciplines. It would also form a useful resource for people who are new to research supervision - it abounds with good advice and many useful references!' - Computer (Windows; MacOS X; Linux): Install the free reader Adobe Digital Editions prior to download (see eBook Help).

The file format PDF always displays a book page identically on any hardware. This makes PDF suitable for complex layouts such as those used in textbooks and reference books (images, tables, columns, footnotes). Unfortunately, on the small screens of e-readers or smartphones, PDFs are rather annoying, requiring too much scrolling.
This eBook uses Adobe-DRM, a „hard” copy protection. If the necessary requirements are not met, unfortunately you will not be able to open the eBook. You will therefore need to prepare your reading hardware before downloading.
Please note: We strongly recommend that you authorise using your personal Adobe ID after installation of any reading software.
