There are four main types of lettuce, including the cut-and-come again varieties - harvest a few leaves off one plant every day and the plant will be encouraged to produce more foliage.
And, surprisingly there are a few things you can do with lettuce, apart from throwing leaves on a plate. This guide includes a little about lettuce and healthy reasons why you should include it in your diet.
Plus:
*Suggested varieties - images and descriptions of a few regular garden varieties *Planting and general care tips - looking after your lettuces *Harvesting - time to harvest *A few delicious recipe ideas - simple recipes to make the most of your crops *General gardening advice - best practices for your gardening experience.
