How To Spell Friendship
Description
Three weeks until graduation, I thought as I sat alone in my school's main staircase for what felt like the last time; reflecting on the past 4 years. I remember a time when others would join me in moments like these, time going by in silence with no sense of urgency to leave. It wasn't often that I had the opportunity to just reminisce; but this time it just felt different. Along with all the good times I remembered, there were the hard times we all had to get through. With every fond moment we all had, I remember an even bigger argument that followed. At times it felt like siblings constantly bickering over some of the most nonsensical subjects. However, at its best it felt like the second coming of something like an actual family. I only now recognize it, but the word I would truly use to describe this feeling is friendship.
