Description
Twin boys born only twelve minutes apart but would become separated by centuries.
Matthew Walker was born at six minutes before midnight on February the twenty eighth and his brother Marcus born at six minutes after on the twenty ninth in the year 1780 when the country of their birth was also struggling to be born.
Over many years Marcus will bear witness to the death of many kinsmen and two great loves. All to pay for the sins of a man who caused so many deaths in his time long ago.

George was born in 1960 in Jefferson County Alabama. The fifth of nine children, eight boys and one girl.
The family was raised poor, but not poorly raised. At home, George was taught morals, ethics and respect. Reading, writing and arithmetic at school. Love, honor and obedience to God at church. He grew up on John Wayne movies, country music and the writings of Louis L' Amour, Robert Louis Stevenson, H.G. Wells and Jules Verne.
