Dr. Sandipan Ghosh is an applied geomorphologist who is working as assistant professor in the Department of Geography at Chandrapur College, West Bengal, India. He has authored more than fifty book chapters and national and international research papers in a wide range of prestigious geography and geosciences periodicals. He is the author of two important books: Key Aspects of Himalayan Geology and Laterites of the Bengal Basin.
