FROM NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING AUTHOR DR. JASON FUNG
"An important and timely book. Highly recommended."?Dr. Mark Hyman
In The Diabetes Code, world-renowned nephrologist and metabolic health expert Dr. Jason Fung reveals a bold, science-backed approach to preventing and reversing type 2 diabetes?without relying solely on medications, extreme calorie restriction, or complicated meal plans.
Drawing on cutting-edge research in metabolic health, insulin resistance, and intermittent fasting, Dr. Fung explains how type 2 diabetes is not a chronic, progressive disease you're doomed to manage for life?but a reversible condition rooted in one key hormone: insulin. By addressing the true cause of blood sugar dysfunction, you can reclaim your health, stabilize your weight, and dramatically reduce your risk of heart disease, stroke, and other complications.

- Natural ways to lower blood sugar and improve insulin sensitivity
- A sustainable plan for diabetes prevention and reversal
- Evidence-based strategies for natural weight loss and long-term weight maintenance
- A clear, practical guide to low-carb living, intermittent fasting, and metabolic flexibility
Inside The Diabetes Code, you'll discover:
- Why most conventional treatments for type 2 diabetes fail to fix the real problem
- The critical link between obesity, metabolic syndrome, and insulin resistance
- How fasting protocols and low-carbohydrate, whole-food nutrition can reset your metabolism
- Simple, step-by-step strategies to improve blood sugar control without feeling deprived
- How to work with your healthcare provider as you implement a science-backed diabetes reversal plan
Accessible, empowering, and rooted in the latest medical research, The Diabetes Code offers a clear path toward:
