An intriguing novel of high caliber Operation Volcano is all about the weapons of mass destruction in the hands of war-like men and the constant threat of obliteration that they pose to the planet Earth and its inhabitants. Set in the mid-1990s it could be considered the greatest story ever told or in fact as the voice of prophecy. A bombshell thriller with an Armageddon factor that is meant to drive fear into the hearts of the nuclear bomb-wielding leaders.
Iraq and her two main allies North Korea and China were conspiring to form themselves into a nuclear arms manufacturing consortium capable of challenging the nuclear might of the United States and its nuclear allies. Securing the rights to mine uranium in the tiny West African state of Menhir got the conspirators well on their way to bringing that scheme into realization but then Mana the mountain god and Mayon Adjeke Ndadaye the daughter of the executed president stepped in to save not only Menhir but also the world from nuclear catastrophe.
General Sebe, Commander-en-Chief of the little West African country of Menhir although a patriotic man was also an illegal drug trafficking character as well, who, with the help of his power-hungry lawyer brother plotted and succeeded in killing and overthrowing the first elected leader, Tufa Ndadaye to get control of the country to make it into a satellite state of the nuclear aspirational nations China, North Korea, and Iraq. It was the brother's hope that with the help of these nations, such a move would entrench them for life in the political leadership of the little nation. However, Mana whose holiest of shrines, Bennu Mountain, was in danger of being defiled by these ungodly men, so, with the help Mayon Ndadaye, decided that they would not let that happen and together they mounted a resistance to this devilish plot threatening to bring the world to the point of being exterminated.
