- Black Homicide Detective Nicholas Morrow, fresh off of solving the Robotic Monster case in Los Angeles, California finds himself vacationing in New York: "To get away from it all."
- But just as he is about to rent his golf clubs and enjoy the N.Y. scenery, a series of homicides involving 'ladies of the night' in the streets of Harlem, where he was staying, began to plague and alarm it's citizens.
- He is recruited by NYPD Harlem Police Chief Normal Ball who happened to hear he was in town to help put a stop to the mangling of young Black women in his city along 127th and Lenox avenue, a dimly lit part of the city. The investigation is put almost squarely in his hands. At firsty it is hard for even he, Detective Morrow, to figure why the homicides were happening? No one could understand why the women, unrelated to each other were being targeted. There was no correlation. The police were at a stand still.
- Until, Detective Morrow, being his undeniable self, accidentily stumbles upon a possible motive, and an unlikely suspect; a suspect he himself and all others involved cannot believe! Yet, all evidence points to him. And everyone wonders if the man in question, the suspect in quesion; of all people was the illusive, and vicious night stalker, the person the city was looking for?
