Asbjørn Rolstadås is professor emeritus of mechanical and industrial engineering at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Faculty of Engineering. His research covers topics like computer-aided production planning and control systems and project management methodsand systems. He is the founding editor of the journal Production Planning and Control (Taylor & Francis) .
