Gods on Display

The gods are preparing for the party of the millennium. That's because the next International Deity Convention is scheduled to take place in Vancouver. And there is talk that the convention will focus on the arrival of Sophia, the Divine Lost Mother, who has finally been found. Trying to smuggle her to Earth as the next Messiah is Jesus and his girlfriend, Mary. But Sophia's insane son, the creator of this universe, will do anything to prevent her from stepping foot into this mad world. Among the beings caught up in the impending war for this world include Baron Samedi, the raunchy death god; Coyote, the Native American trickster; Dionysus, the naughty god of Ecstasy; Hanuman, the Monkey Warrior; Titania, the Fairy Queen; and Lilith, the disgruntled first wife of Adam. And at the center of it all is Angie, a prostitute who is destined to become the mother to the New Messiah. With a sweeping cast of deities spanning the globe, Gods on display is a trippy romp that will reacquaint you with familiar gods, while introducing you to other divinities you won't soon forget.
