`By mixing the text with superb CT images, Dr Feldberg has beautifully demonstrated this new dimension in retroperitoneal imaging. The extensive literature on the subject has been investigated and incorporated in the text. It is undoubtedly the most complete reference book on the subject. The study of this area - which in the past has been the domain reserved for the anatomist and surgeon - has now been opened to all. Because our studies are in the living patient, understanding of the spread of disease is now possible. Old and new techniques are combined and the result is a most thorough study of the retroperitoneal fascial planes.'P.R. Koehler, Salt Lake City, UT, USA (from the Foreword)
`The text is concise and contains pertinent observations from the author's experience and a review of the literature. The atlas is adequately illustrated. The figures are clearly marked with appropriate arrows and symbols to aid the reader in identifying the important anatomic and pathologic features shown on the CT (Computed tomography) scans. The strength of the atlas lies in the cross-sectional and direct coronal CT illustrations. These illustrations provide a good method of studying the anatomy and pathology of the retroperitoneum and they also serve as an excellent reference.'

The file format PDF always displays a book page identically on any hardware. This makes PDF suitable for complex layouts such as those used in textbooks and reference books (images, tables, columns, footnotes). Unfortunately, on the small screens of e-readers or smartphones, PDFs are rather annoying, requiring too much scrolling.
This eBook uses Watermark-DRM, a „soft” copy protection. This means that there are no technical restrictions to prevent illegal distribution. However, there is a personalised watermark embedded in the eBook that can be used to identify the purchaser of the eBook in the event of misuse and to provide evidence for legal purposes.
