This proceedings book presents extended versions of papers on advanced intelligent systems for networks and system selected from the second edition of the International Conference on Advanced Intelligent Systems for Sustainable Development (AI2SD'2019), which was held on 8-11 July 2019 in Marrakech, Morocco. The book explores a number of aspects of networks and systems design issues, and focuses on the latest research developments in a number of areas, including various aspects of modern networking such as smart networked systems, network protocols and performance, security and privacy, mobile and wireless systems, Internet of things, artificial intelligence and expert systems, and cloud computing, as well as enabling technologies.
The book also examines the area of intelligence, comprehensively examining a range of important topics like intelligent collaborative systems for work and learning, security, organization, management and autonomic computing for intelligent networking and collaborative systems, wireless and sensor systems for intelligent networking and collaborative systems, data mining and knowledge management for intelligent networking and collaborative systems, data for Internet of things, and cloud computing.
Each chapter presents the state of the art in a specific topic as well as the results of research and laboratory experiments, and successful applications. The book is intended for academic and industry researchers and telecommunication network engineers wanting to gain insights into these areas, particularly in the context of Industry 4.0.More details

System requirements
File format: PDF
Copy protection: Watermark-DRM (Digital Rights Management)
System requirements:
- Computer (Windows; MacOS X; Linux): Use the free software Adobe Reader, Adobe Digital Editions, or any other PDF viewer of your choice (see eBook Help).
- Tablet/Smartphone (Android; iOS): Install the free app Adobe Digital Editions or another reading app for eBooks, e.g., PocketBook (see eBook Help).
- E-reader: Bookeen, Kobo, Pocketbook, Sony, Tolino and many more (only limited: Kindle).
The file format PDF always displays a book page identically on any hardware. This makes PDF suitable for complex layouts such as those used in textbooks and reference books (images, tables, columns, footnotes). Unfortunately, on the small screens of e-readers or smartphones, PDFs are rather annoying, requiring too much scrolling.
This eBook uses Watermark-DRM, a „soft” copy protection. This means that there are no technical restrictions to prevent illegal distribution. However, there is a personalised watermark embedded in the eBook that can be used to identify the purchaser of the eBook in the event of misuse and to provide evidence for legal purposes.
