Donald English CBE (1930 - 1998) was, until his death, General Secretary of the Division of Home Mission for the Methodist Church, and Chairman of the World Methodist Executive Committee. Author of An Evangelical Theology of Preaching. In earlier years he was an amateur footballer of some distinction, as well as a regional staff worker for the IVF (UCCF).
