Egypt, 1348 BC. The sun god Aten rules the heavens, and Pharaoh Akhenaten rules the land with a radical new faith. But beneath the gleaming surface of Akhetaten, something darker stirs.
When a respected carpenter dies in a suspicious fall at the royal tomb construction site, what first appears to be an accident soon hints at murder. As more deaths follow, the Pharaoh commands Ramose, once a celebrated charioteer, now a retired horse trainer, to uncover the truth.
Drawn back into a world of political manipulation, forbidden gods, and courtly danger, Ramose must navigate shifting alliances and religious unrest with only his instincts, his courage, and the help of his sharp-witted wife, Tiaa. What they discover will shake the foundations of the new order and put both their lives at risk.
Ramose is a gripping historical mystery that brings Ancient Egypt to life with vivid detail, unforgettable characters, and a plot full of twists and tension. Perfect for fans of historical thrillers and detective fiction with a rich, immersive setting.
