Recognized as one of Canada's Top 25 Women of Influence for 2024, Christiana leads initiatives such as Alexis Lodge Retirement Residences, Memory Care Facilities, and A Rose For Grandma Wellness Hub, providing essential support to communities of Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour affected by dementia-related issues. As the host of "Unmasking Dementia: Lived Experiences," Christiana shares powerful narratives from caregivers and professionals navigating the complexities of dementia care, offering insights into effective management and prevention strategies. Complementing her advocacy work, Christiana is also the author of three children's books addressing Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, including "A Rose for Grandma: A Journey Through Alzheimer's," "Unmasking Grandpa: A Journey Through Vascular Dementia," and "Unraveled," which bravely tackles caregiver burnout.
