Persons
James Davey is Professor of Insurance and Commercial Law at the University of Southampton, UK. He is one of the UK's leading academics in the field, with 25 years of experience of teaching and researching insurance law. He has published more than 30 articles, appearing in leading journals in the United Kingdom, Australia, and the United States. He is Deputy President of the British Insurance Law Association, and is a regular speaker at events at the Lloyd's insurance market.
Oliver Caplin is a commercial barrister based in London, UK. His practice comprises marine and non-marine insurance and reinsurance, international trade, dry shipping, energy, and jurisdiction disputes. He regularly appears in the Commercial Court in London, and arbitrations held in London and around the World.
