Dr. Biplab Das is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar, India. He completed his Ph.D. at NERIST, India, in 2014, followed by postdoctoral research at the University of Idaho, USA, under the prestigious Bhaskara Advanced Solar Energy (BASE) Fellowship awarded by the Indo-US Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF) and the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. Additionally, he has been awarded a DBT Associateship by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, to visit Ulster University, UK, as a visiting researcher. With over 16 years of experience in teaching and research, Dr. Das has published more than 150 papers in refereed international and national journals and conferences. He is currently involved in three sponsored projects and has successfully completed eleven sponsored projects funded by the SERB, DST, the Ministry of Power, and the Ministry of Climate Change, Government of India. Dr. Das has guided ten PhD scholars, and he currently supervises seven PhD scholars.
Dr. Ripon Patgiri is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar, India. He received his bachelor's degree from the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers, India, in 2009, followed by an M.Tech. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati in 2012. Dr. Patgiri completed his Ph.D. at NIT Silchar in 2019 and joined the Department of Computer Science and Engineering as an Assistant Professor in 2013. He has published numerous papers in reputed journals, conferences, and books, with research interests that include Bloom filters, networking, security, privacy, secrecy, and communication. Dr. Patgiri is a senior member of IEEE, an active member of ACM and EAI, a lifetime member of ACCS, India, and an associate member of IETE.
