Bury It Deep: A manifestation of evil that cannot be avoided--the Deep. An entity that turns the flesh of Professor Govver Kennedy's body into a tome of wickedness known as the Corpus Altum... the body deep. The Corpus Altum--a living entity--sets out to ink its pages in blood. Blood, but not font... yet. The container, the vessel of the blood, Lorn Onikuri, sends an emergency message to the surgeons' hands: he needs someone to cut, to remove the manifestation of evil, the Deep arisen. Three outcast medical residents, Marissa Illiastad, Teppis Relk, and Hadiza Wyse are dispatched to perform an operation to remove the tumor of evil... they find themselves instead, buried deep.
