Dr. Patrick A. Stadter has more than twenty-five years of system engineering and program management experience in space, air, and undersea domains. He has successfully led staff in expanding The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory's cross-enterprise ability to contribute in new technical areas, providing opportunities to apply and improve staff cross-domain knowledge, developing new program focus areas, and effectively engaging complex sponsor organizations. He is recognized for leadership and development of line and program organizations, including complex, multidisciplinary teams established across APL sectors, government, laboratory, and industry contributors. Dr. Stadter's technical focus includes system engineering, distributed, autonomous systems control, data fusion, and information theory. He has over 50 publications, two patents, has held a review panel appointment to the National Academies of Sciences National Research Council and is an active member of the Air Force Scientific Advisory Board. Dr. Stadter's degrees are in Electrical Engineering and include a Bachelor of Science from the University of Notre Dame, a Master of Science from The Johns Hopkins University, and a Ph.D. from The Pennsylvania State University.
