Jack S. Damico is the Doris B. Hawthorne EminentScholar in Communicative Disorders and Special Education at theUniversity of Louisiana at Lafayette. He is co-editor ofthe Journal of Interactional Research in CommunicationDisorders . His books include Childhood LanguageDisorders (1995),Clinical Aphasiology: FutureDirections(co-edited with M. Ball, 2007), and SpecialEducation Considerations for English LanguageLearners (co-authored with E. Hamayan, B. Marler, and C.Sanchez-Lopez, 2007).
Nicole Müller is a Hawthorne-BoRSF EndowedProfessor of Communicative Disorders at the University of Louisianaat Lafayette. She is the founder-editor of the Journal ofMultilingual Communication Disorders, and is now a co-editor,with Martin J. Ball, of Clinical Linguistics andPhonetics. She is co-author of Approaches to Discoursein Dementia (2005), and co-editorof The Handbook of ClinicalLinguistics (Wiley-Blackwell, 2008).
Martin J. Ball is Hawthorne-BoRSF Endowed Professor,and Director of the Hawthorne Center for Research in CommunicativeDisorders, at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. his mostrecent books are ClinicalSociolinguistics (Wiley-Blackwell,2005), Phonetics for CommunicationDisorders (co-authored with N. Müller, 2005)and Critical Concepts in Clinical Linguistics(co-edited with Tom Powell, 2009)
