Person
County Down, Northern Ireland. After leaving school he worked in a
number of jobs including gravedigger, lorry driver, professional
musician, and even comic strip writer, before leaving to travel
extensively in a number of countries. At university he studied history
and educational psychology before working as a lecturer. Currently he
works as an advisor to a number of Governmental bodies as well as
teaching, broadcasting, and writing. He has written extensively on
historical, cultural, and mythological topics. He currently lives in
Northern Ireland with his wife and young family.
