Michael Richard Craig was born in Gulfport, MS, to Mr. & Mrs. Richard Washington Craig Jr. He Graduated from Belhaven College in Jackson, MS., with a BA in Christian. He also earned his Bachelors of Fine Arts, in Media Arts and Animation from the Art Institute of Jacksonville, FL. He then graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS., with a Masters of Divinity and additional work in Marriage and Family Therapy. He went on to graduate from the US Navy Pastoral Care and Counseling post graduate program in Portsmouth, VA. He has also taken doctoral courses at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL.
He was ordained in The Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) and was also commissioned into the U.S. Navy Chaplain Corps and retired after 20 years of service.
He is a board-certified Chaplain in the Association of Professional Chaplains. In addition, he is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI).
Michael is the brother of four sisters. He is married to Carol and they have two married sons and four grandchildren.
He has written and illustrated several books for both adults and children, found on Amazon and other publishing sites.
