In her nightmares, she'd dream of him standing over piles of dead bodies... eyes so dark they looked black... and he'd be smiling as his victim's blood trailed from his lips... staining them a bitter red...

When he looked to her for the first time, she knew from the beginning that he wasn't normal.

His eyes held no mercy.

Not even for her.

And now that Malachi had her life twined between his fingers...

All her nightmares would come true.

But deep inside the monster... was there a light...? Or was his soul completely covered in shadows?

She knew he was her captor... a monster... but she couldn't control herself...

And she had to remind herself of who he really was...

Raven Magicae seems as if she's your average high schooler. She does her homework, reads books, loves anime...

But she's far from normal, and she doesn't know it.

Malachi Igniser came into her life when she moved schools, settling into her classes... 

And into the seat beside Malachi.

She would rather fall from the top of a building than deal with his teasing and vague answers to her questions.

Although... something was off about him... his eyes were too dark for comfort... and she wasn't sure what went through his head, but she wasn't about to find out...

She hoped to keep a distance from him... but he kept showing out of nowhere... Popping up in all the places she went to... though he never looked at her...

She just brushed it off before... but now he was actually talking to her, and she wasn't sure if she could trust him...

But then she was left with a choice when she realized someone was after her... risk her life and everything she stood for? or to keep her distance?

She wasn't really sure if she had a choice...
