When the love of Lilly's life pulled the rug out from under her in spectacular fashion, she knew something in her life needed to change. Things were only going to improve if she made some changes, and drastic ones at that. What Lilly didn't expect as a result of those changes, was finding a man who would throw her world into a spin of a different kind and make her question everything she thought about love and happiness. What she didn't expect was to find her dream business location, and her dream man in the same place, but she did. Only trouble was, he wasn't as sold on the dream as she was, so where to from here?
Tom's constantly steady life started to spin out of control after rescuing a woman stranded on the side of the road in the rain. Until that day, everything in his safe structured world was fine. He was fine. At least he thought he was. Within a matter of months Tom found his world tipped on its axis, and for the life of him, he couldn't stop the spinning no matter how hard he tried, and it was all because of one woman.
Unexpected is the tale of two people who didn't know that something was missing until they found it. After all, life would be very boring if we knew what was waiting for us around the corner, so why not embrace the unexpected and see where it takes you.

Person
Vicki was born in Orange, NSW. When she was two years old her family moved to Dapto, a southern suburb of Wollongong. She was kicked out of pre-school at the age of four (for reasons that she will keep to herself).
When she was sixteen she moved with her parents and two sisters (Vicki is the typically misunderstood middle child) to the ACT where, ironically she studied Child Care so she could work in a pre-school. Now, at the age of 45 she still lives in Canberra with her husband and three adult/teenage children.
Vicki works full time (not in the child care industry!) and is an avid baker. She spends her time taxiing her kids around and baking cup cakes for all the kids who constantly fill the house.
Vicki has always enjoyed writing and is now taking the time to put her stories to print.
You can contact Vicki via email at vickiconnellanauthor@gmail.com with any questions or feedback on her book.
