He was elected as a Fellow in the National Academy of Kinesiology and received numerous awards for his scholarly and professional contributions. He received SHAPE America's highest award, the Luther Halsey Gulick Medal. He served as the Associate Director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning at Georgia State University.
Tony Pritchard, PhD is a professor in the Department of Health Sciences and Kinesiology at Georgia Southern University, USA. Dr. Pritchard utilizes his expertise in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the field of Physical Education Teacher Education.
