Paul Shuch of SETI fame), mermaids (Cat Rambo and Mike Resnick), ancient immortals who guide our breeding (Steven Popkes), quality management (Allen Steele), and-of all things!-Santa Claus (James Cambias). Not to mention the squirrels (Sarah Smith).
