Mike Clayton is a bestselling author with a proven track record; he is the author of four of Pearson's Brilliant series (Influence, Time Management, Stress Management and Project Leader) and of four further titles, published by Pearson, Marshall Cavendish and Palgrave Macmillian. He is an accomplished platform speaker and runs his own training business with a high quality client portfolio and a broad range of courses and seminars. Before setting up his own business, he spent 12 years in management consulting, with Deloitte, leaving in 2002, as a Senior Manager in the Project and Programme Leadership practice. He worked with clients such as BAA, Vodafone and General Motors, and led engagements in the UK and Europe. He was responsible for staff management, service line development and thought leadership, client relationship development, and sales.
