After briefly training at Leith's Culinary School, Esther began her career cooking on a small farm in Italy, where she honed her passion for simple, flavour-driven food. Returning to the UK, she moved into food media, first ghost-writing cookbooks before becoming a Food Editor at BBC Good Food.
Today, Esther is a recipe writer, food stylist, and culinary storyteller whose work regularly appears in leading newspapers and magazines like The Guardian, The Times, The Telegraph, Waitrose Food, Sainsbury's Magazine, Tesco Magazine, and House & Garden. She has developed and styled recipes for some of the UK's most celebrated chefs and authors, including Romy Gill, Sophie Wyburd, Lerato Umah-Shaylor, Tom Kerridge, Diana Henry, Shivi Ramoutar, John Torode, and the bestselling Padella Cookbook.
With over 700 recipes published on the BBC Good Food website and a thriving online presence, Esther has built a dedicated community of 67k+ Instagram followers and 10.5k newsletter subscribers who come to her for inspiring, achievable home cooking.
