Dhiman Deb Chowdhury is a high-tech industry veteran with 25+ years' experience with progressive career in data and telecommunications industry. He is currently leading Distributed Services Switching (DSS) product lines at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). Prior to joining HPE, Mr. Chowdhury served as the head of product management and strategic marketing for time and frequency division at Trimble, Inc where he defined products, oversaw product innovations, technology accumulation and managed product marketing. At IPInfusion, Mr. Chowdhury served as Vice President of Product Marketing and Business Development. As the technology leader and executive of the firm, Dhiman defined technology and product roadmap and engaged with leading industry forums to advocate network disaggregation and open innovation in the high-tech field. He extensively travelled around the world to present network disaggregation technologies and its application to building smart nextgen network infrastructure invarious technology conferences and tradeshows. At Delta Electronics, Dhiman led the formation of Agema System, a technology venture where he defined open networking technology and product roadmap. He was at the forefront of the whitebox and open networking movement during his tenure at Delta. Prior to Delta, Mr Chowdhury managed R&D at Allied Telesis, created Industry's first VoIP products at Netgear and Nortel. At Nortel, Dhiman was instrumental to Nortel's QoS architecture specification and definition of industry leading hybrid VoIP Routing systems. He holds a BSEE in Telecommunications and Electronics Engineering, MBA from Liverpool University and studied Doctor of Business Administration at The Robert Gordon University. Mr. Chowdhury has authored a number of books in technology and management sciences and wrote numerous scholarly papers. He is also an avid blogger and a philanthropist, founder of HRCBM an international NGO in special consultative status with ECOSOC of the UN.
