Camilla Chester is a dog-walking, horse-riding writer. She's been a finalist in two national children's writing competitions, for the National Literacy Trust and Mslexia, and has previously successfully self-published three novels. Her first traditionally published novel Call Me Lion (Firefly 2022) was selected for The Summer Reading Challenge and the Read for Empathy List, won the 2023 Crystal Kite and was shortlisted for the UKLA Children's Book Awards. Camilla lives in Hertfordshire with her family and various furry friends.
