Persons
Chien-Ming Chen is currently a professor with the School of Artificial Intelligence, Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, China. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science, National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan, in 2010. He has published about 150 SCI-indexed research articles in refereed journals (including ACM/IMS TDS, IEEE TII, IEEE TDSC, IEEE TPDS, IEEE TIFS, IEEE TITS, IEEE TC, IEEE TMM, IEEE SysJ, IEEE IOTJ, IEEE Networks, ACM TMIS, ACM OSR), 3 edited books, and 17 patents. He is an executive editor/associate editor/editor of many SCI journals (IJCS, S&P, JIFS, JCN, etc.). He is the senior member of IEEE.
Václav Snásel received a master's degree in numerical mathematics from the Faculty of Science, Palacky University, Olomouc, Czech Republic, in 1981, and the Ph.D. degree in algebra and number theory from Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic, in 1991. He is currently a full professor and the rector with the VSB-Technical University of Ostrava,, Czech Republic.
Tien-Wen Sung received his Ph.D. degree in Computer and Communication Engineering from Department of Electrical Engineering at Cheng Kung University, Taiwan, in 2014. He is now a full professor in the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Fujian University of Technology, China. He is awarded the Taiwanese Outstanding Talents in Fujian Province of China. He is also a member of IEEE, ACM, IAENG, EAI, and China Computer Federation (CCF). As a guest editor, he has edited several special issues of SCI journals. He is now the associate editor of Journal of Network Intelligence and the academic editor of Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing. He has published more than 80 research papers indexed by SCI, SSCI, or EI, including an ESI highly cited paper, and won the Excellent/Best Paper Awards from several conferences.
Jeng-Shyang Pan is the professor and the dean of Artificial Intelligence Research Institute in Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, China. He also got the part-time work in Shandong University of Science and Technology. He received the B. S. degree in Electronic Engineering from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology in 1986, the M. S. degree in Communication Engineering from the National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan in 1988, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh, U.K. in 1996. He has published more 500 papers indexed by SCI, the H-Index is 72, and the total cited times are more than 21000. He is the IET Fellow, UK, and has been the vice chair of IEEE Tainan Section. He was Awarded Gold Prize in the International Micro Mechanisms Contest held in Tokyo, Japan in 2010.
