Vivek P. Chavda, MPharm, is an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology at the L. M. College of Pharmacy, India. Before joining academia, he served in the biologics industry for almost eight years in research and development and has two successful regulatory filings at Lupin Biotech and Dr. Reddy's Laboratory. He has published over 250 papers in national and international publications, nearly 20 book chapters, and several books, and has seven patents in progress. His research interests include development of biologics processes and formulations, medical device development, nano-diagnostics, long-acting parenteral formulations, and nano-vaccines. He is listed among the world's top 2% of scientists in 2023 and 2024 by Stanford University and Elsevier.
Zhe-Sheng (Jason) Chen, MD, PhD, is a Professor at the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at St. John's University, New York, USA. Dr. Chen is editor-in-chief of Drug Resistance Updates, Recent Patents on Anticancer Drugs Discovery, Journal of Cancer Research Updates, and New Developments on Chemistry, as well as a guest editor for Current Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and an editorial board member and reviewer for many journals. He is also an ad hoc grants reviewer for the National Institutes of Health (USA) and NCI Special Emphasis Review Panel, OmniBus SEP-10, as well as a state grant reviewer for Louisiana and a reviewer for grants for New Zealand, Poland, China, Hungary, Netherlands, etc. The author of many papers, he was included on Stanford/Elsevier's world's top 2% scientists list in 2024. He is also a consultant to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and health industry organizations.
