Description
A Working Day is a sonnet sequence focusing on a day in the life of a fictional primary school principal.
It takes place on the morning the school is notified of an upcoming Whole School Inspection but includes the many lighter moments of school life as well.

Frank, a recent sonnet sequence, was shortlisted for a Hennessy Award. Odyssey, a major sonnet sequence based on Homer's epic, will be published later this year.
