Claudio Canuto is a full professor of Numerical Analysis at the Department of Mathematical Sciences "G.L. Lagrange", Politecnico di Torino. He was visiting professor in France, Germany, Switzerland, and the US. His scientific interests mostly focus on the numerical treatment of partial differential equations.
Anita Tabacco received her PhD in the United States and is a full professor of Mathematical Analysis at the Department of Mathematical Sciences "G.L. Lagrange", Politecnico di Torino. Her main scientific interests concern topics in Harmonic and Functional Analysis.
Claudio Canuto and Anita Tabacco have taught several lecture courses on Mathematical Analysis and Calculus, besides many other classes. They have authored highly regarded textbooks both in Italian and English.
