Andrew is 78 years old, British with mixed Scottish ancestry, born in Kent and living in West Sussex.
His family moved 10 times before he was 11 years old.
He is well travelled, having flown as a big-jet Loadmaster, then into airline handling and management with Tradewinds Airways and later Continental Airlines, when they began flying to London, later as Administration Manager in wholesale freight forwarding.
He was responsible for a range of departments including compensation claims against the company, and consequently against airlines for lost and damaged cargo and had to be up to date with aviation law to present cases and with commercial law.
He ended his career running his own specialist cargo claims company and was an aviation security validator for the Department of Transport.
He took qualifications in IAM Senior Observer motorcycle training, RYA Offshore sailing, Aviation Security Management and Quality Control Inspection.
He enjoys beekeeping, travelling and eating.
