After Me
Description
Relationships and friendships come and go. We give so much of ourselves that we have to be careful not to lose who we are. Our authentic selves can be found when we spend quality time alone. We cannot connect with others if we cannot first connect with self. The poetry in this collection speaks to that authentic individual in us all, separate from being someone's lover or someone's anything.
We love and we hurt, we lust and we ache in our relationships but what really happens when it is all over and we're standing alone with a broken heart?

J Asheley Brown has self published over 100 books ranging from poetry to young adult fiction and everything inbetween. He is the Creator and Editor-in-chief of a poetry publication called Poet Speak Magazine which is both an online and print magazine. When he is not busy writing he is creating and designing book covers for his company, J ASH B DESIGNS. The hardworking author is a man of faith and also a musician.
