Shawn was born in Clovis New Mexico, but has lived in Nebraska since age five. He's been writing fiction since old enough to hold a pencil, and telling stories before that.
When not writing, Shawn keeps busy with his family, church, and playing the guitar.
He has an undergraduate degree from Wayne State College and a graduate degree from Bellevue University.
