Surekha Borra (Senior Member, IEEE) earned her doctorate in image processing with a focus on copyright protection of images from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, India, in 2015. She began her academic career as an assistant professor in 2004 and has served in engineering colleges for 18 years. She is a Professor in the Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering (IoT, Cybersecurity, and Blockchain Technology) at K. S. Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, India, and is currently serving as Chief Development Officer at PSR IT Services. Her research interests include image and video analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, biometrics, biomedical signal processing, and remote sensing. She has received grants and awards from the Institution of Engineers (India) and the Karnataka State Government. Honors include the Woman Achiever's Award from the Institution of Engineers (India) and the Distinguished Educator and Scholar Award.
Nilanjan Dey (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Tech. and M.Tech. in information technology from West Bengal Board of Technical University and the Ph.D. in electronics and telecommunication engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India, in 2005, 2011, and 2015. Currently, he is a professor with Techno International New Town, Kolkata, and a visiting fellow of the University of Reading, UK. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Ambient Computing and Intelligence , Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Technology and Society , and series Co-Editor of Springer Tracts in Nature-Inspired Computing and Data-Intensive Research (Springer Nature) and Advances in Ubiquitous Sensing Applications for Healthcare (Elsevier). He is also on the Editorial Board of IEEE Data Descriptions . He is a Fellow of IETE and member of IE, ISOC, etc.
Sheng-Lung Peng is a professor, director of the Department of Creative Technologies and Product Design, and Dean of the College of Innovative Design and Management at National Taipei University of Business, Taiwan. He received his PhD in computer science from National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan. He is an honorary professor at Beijing Information Science and Technology University, China, and a visiting professor at Ningxia Institute of Science and Technology, China. He is also an adjunct professor at National Dong Hwa University in Taiwan and Kazi Nazrul University in India, as well as Honorary Adjunct Professor at Sir Padampat Singhania University and ITM (SLS) Baroda University, India. He serves as president of the Association of Taiwan Computer Programming Contest and the Association of Algorithms and Computation Theory, co-director of ICPC Asia Pacific, and director of the Institute of Information and Computing Machinery and the Taiwan Association of Cloud Computing.
