When the Veil stirs again, they are drawn back into the world where they are forever eleven, where time stands still, but nothing feels the same. Their bond remains unbreakable, yet their hearts have changed, and Everwood no longer fits as easily as it once did. Stranger still, the boundaries between worlds begin to blur. Small cracks appear. People who should not know anything about magic begin to sense it.
As they move between two lives, Jennifer and Jerry begin to question the very thing they have always fought to protect. Each return, each choice to hold on, may be weakening the Veil itself and feeding something far worse waiting beyond it.
