Dr. Debarun Chakraborty has 16 years of work experience (14 years in Academics and 2 years in Industries). Presently, he is working as an Associate Professor in Marketing at the Indian Institute of Management Nagpur. Dr. Chakraborty has completed a BE in Chemical and an MBA in Marketing and qualified for UGC NET in Management (twice) in June 2012 & December 2012. He completed his Ph.D. in Management (Marketing) in the field of Consumer Behavior in the year 2017. He has written six books on Management with different reputed publishers. He has also written over eighty-five research articles on the marketing field in various reputed international Journals & also participated in fifty-one international & national seminars/conferences. He has guided two Research Scholars (Ph.D.) under the Faculty of Management, Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune.
Dr. Chakraborty has recently appeared in Elsevier's top 2% scientists list. He has also published 85 Scopus Indexed papers, including 2 in ABDC A*, 33 in ABDC A, and 11 in ABDC B category. A few papers are also under review at ABS 4/ FT 50/ ABDC A* level. He has received many awards like the "Amity Excellence Award for Best Faculty in the area of Marketing" during the International Business Summit and Research Conference INBUSH ERA WORLD SUMMIT 2020 on 18th - 20th February 2020, organized by Amity University, Noida, "INDAM Best Paper of the Track Award" (Track: Consumer Behavior & Retail Management) in 23rd International Conference in Sixth Biennial Conference of the Indian Academy of Management on Architecting Indian Management Scholarship in The Era of Disruption on 2nd - 4th January 2020 organized by Indian Institute of Management, Tiruchirappalli (IIM, Trichy), "Conference Best Paper Award - Faculty Category" (2nd Prize with USD 750) in the ISDSI Global Conference on 'Assessing the determinants of patient experience: A mixed-method approach' on 27th - 29th December 2022 organized by Jagdish Sheth School of Management (JAGSoM), Bengaluru and many others.
His recent article on healthcare apps has been covered and published by Times of India (Nagpur Edition) on 18th of March 2022 with heading "City scholar researches role of healthcare apps". One of his papers, "Marching towards 'Heart Work': Connecting in New Ways to Thrive Amidst COVID-19 Crisis," which was published in Conflict Resolution Quarterly, has received the award for most downloaded paper in the year 2022 from the Journal published by Wiley. He has written four articles on COVID-19, all of which have been enlisted in the World Health Organization (WHO) database. His Interview on "Heart work: New exigency, will have strongest effect on staff" is Published in Times of India (Nagpur Edition) on 25th July 2021. He is in the editorial board of various top journals published by Taylor & Francis, Emerald, Sage, Wiley & IGI Global.
Atanu Manna is a Research Scholar at the Centre for Environmental Studies at Vidyasagar University. He has an MSc in Geography and an MBA with an HR specialization. He has published seven research papers and two book chapters in leading journals.
