Empirical and Computational Explorations of Diffusion
Description
Alles über E-Books | Antworten auf Fragen rund um E-Books, Kopierschutz und Dateiformate finden Sie in unserem Info- & Hilfebereich.
The purpose of this Diffusion Foundations volume is to collect a cross-section of contemporary information about real and computational experiments for mass transport in solid and liquid phases. The authors were selected to provide a rigorous description of their chosen research areas. The main aim of the volume is, therefore, to be useful as a type of guide to both contemporary computational and experimental techniques. Another aim of the volume is to demonstrate that computational experiments can be useful for the design and interpretation of real experiments. We draw special attention to the opening chapter from Prof. Helmut Mehrer and Prof. Graeme Murch which provides a comprehensive overview of the history of solid state diffusion.

System requirements:
- Computer (Windows; MacOS X; Linux): Use the free software Adobe Reader, Adobe Digital Editions, or any other PDF viewer of your choice (see eBook Help).
- Tablet/Smartphone (Android; iOS): Install the free app Adobe Digital Editions or another reading app for eBooks, e.g., PocketBook (see eBook Help).

The file format PDF always displays a book page identically on any hardware. This makes PDF suitable for complex layouts such as those used in textbooks and reference books (images, tables, columns, footnotes). Unfortunately, on the small screens of e-readers or smartphones, PDFs are rather annoying, requiring too much scrolling.
This eBook does not use copy protection or Digital Rights Management.
