Description
As a young and hot-headed twenty-two-year old, Dan Mackay made a choice he regretted ever since. Even though he knew it was wrong, he was too proud, and admittedly, too embarrassed, to admit it then. When he at last came to his senses, it was too late. The past has a nasty habit of catching up on you. Returning to South Africa, Dan learned that the choice he made so long ago, had more repercussions than even he thought.
Like Dan, Jess knew it was the biggest mistake letting Dan go, even as he was walking out of the door, but she was too proud to stop him. She would've wanted him to choose her, or just give her a choice, but when he didn't, she let him go.
Will Dan be able to make better choices this time to help mend his relationship with Jess?

Vir jare het die Suid-Afrikaans-gebore romanskrywer, Francine Beaton, liefdesverhale verslind voordat sy self die pen opgeneem het. Sy het haar debuut roman in Engels, Eye on the Ball, asook die eerste in die Taste for Love-reeks in 2018 gepubliseer.
Francine is mal oor reis en is ook 'n kranige fotograaf. Tot haar man se frustrasie neem sy foto's van alles wat sy eet en drink. Sy is 'n vurige rugby ondersteuner wat selfs (een keer) die spel probeer het. Deesdae verkies sy egter om raad en kommentaar te lewer vanaf die kantlyn of voor die televisie terwyl sy 'n glasie van haar gunsteling wyn geniet.
