Another Top Secret Files and this time it scared me! Who knew that there were so many facts about pirates? Who really cares? I didn't. But you know the author, Stephanie Bearce. She can make you care about anything she writes. This time she takes us back to 1650-1730.Like all Top Secret Files, this book has pictures and little, different shaped boxes with wonderful facts. The Top Secret Files books are aimed at 9-12 year olds, but every adult will love them. The information will fascinate all ages.
Buy this book for your classrooms and your children, but please don't forget to read it yourselves!,Elaine S. Weiner,Gifted Education Communicator, 9/1/15
Pirates and Buried Treasure will intrigue anyone interested in pirates. Teachers can find much in this book to use in lessons, making Pirates and Buried Treasure a nice adjunct text. Actually, the entire Top Secret Files series makes a great classroom tool. History buffs will love the series. Everyone loves a secret and there are tons of not-so-well-known facts inside Pirates and Buried Treasure. Individually or as a set, the Top Secret Files books will thrill kids. Many kids not interested in history will change their minds once they read one of these fascinating books. I know I did. The file format PDF always displays a book page identically on any hardware. This makes PDF suitable for complex layouts such as those used in textbooks and reference books (images, tables, columns, footnotes). Unfortunately, on the small screens of e-readers or smartphones, PDFs are rather annoying, requiring too much scrolling.
This eBook uses Adobe-DRM, a „hard” copy protection. If the necessary requirements are not met, unfortunately you will not be able to open the eBook. You will therefore need to prepare your reading hardware before downloading.
Please note: We strongly recommend that you authorise using your personal Adobe ID after installation of any reading software.
