Dr. Nishant Ranjan is an assistant professor at University Centre for Research and Development in the Chandigarh University. Fused deposition-modeling, extrusion, thermoplastic polymers, composition of thermoplastic polymers, natural and synthetic biopolymers, scaffolds printing, 3D printing technology, thermal, mechanical, morphological, and chemical properties of thermoplastic polymers, biocompatible and biodegradable fillers, and reinforcement of materials are the main focus areas of Dr. Nishant Ranjan. He has coauthored more than 12 research papers in science citation index journals and 22 book chapters and has presented ten research papers atvarious national-level conferences.
Dr. Ranvijay Kumar is an assistant professor in University Center for Research and Development, Chandigarh University. He has received PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Punjabi University, Patiala. His Research interests include additive manufacturing, shape memory polymers, smart materials, friction-based welding techniques, advance materials processing, polymer matrix composite preparations, reinforced polymer composites for 3D printing, plastic solid waste management, thermosetting recycling, and destructive testing of materials. He has coauthored more than 55 research papers in science citation index journals and 35 book chapters and has presented 20 research papers at various national/international-level conferences.
Dr. Vikas Dhawan is an academician and administrator in the field of higher education with more than 22 years of rich experience. He has more than 12 years of administrative experience as a principal, additional director, and director & director principal in various reputed institutions. He has filed five patents and has more than 40 research publications in international and national journals and conferences of repute. He has organized many conferences, seminars, fused deposition modeling, and workshops and has chaired sessions in international and national conferences. He has established many labs, incubation centers, and centers of excellence in the field of mechanical engineering.
Dr. Ankit Sharma is currently working as an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Chitkara College of Applied Engineering at Chitkara University, Punjab, India. He completed his doctoral degree from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, India. He has authored numerous national and international publications in SCI, Scopus, and Web of Science indexed journals. He has filed/published 20+ national/international patents. His research interests include 3D printing, modern machining, machining of hard and brittle materials, and additive manufacturing. He also has vast experience in industry as well as in academics.
