Researchers working in business and other fields around the world present 11 essays on the role of entrepreneurship in meeting the United Nations sustainable development goals. They examine various forms of entrepreneurship that stimulate sustainable development, such as the contribution of small and medium enterprises, social entrepreneurship, social and eco entrepreneurship, and the work of tribal artisans; organizational and corporate entrepreneurial practices towards these goals, including impact investors and investments, digital financial services, and corporate social responsibility practices and innovation within small and medium enterprises; and how entrepreneurship can support gender equality and social inclusion, through entrepreneurship training for refugees, fair trade, and the support of international organizations for female entrepreneurship, as well as the impact of cooperative enterprises on women's employment and empowerment. -- Annotation (c)2018 * (protoview.com) *More details
