Description
The 4th Battalion, Delta Company of the Royal Highlanders Regiment, fully equipped with modern combat arms and transportation such as Jackals and Mastiffs, find themselves unexpectedly transported back to April 9, 1746, a week before the Battle of Culloden. Faced with the dilemma of altering history, they decide to fight for the Scots against the British Army, led by the Duke of Cumberland. Major Derek McAndrew, Captain Connor McAndrew, and Sergeant Major Ian McKenzie must replenish ammunition and devise a modern Scottish military using 18th-century technology to confront the imminent large-scale invasion aimed at crushing the rebellion. Their mission is crucial, for if they fail, the very existence of Scotland is at stake, with King George II threatening to annihilate it in the aftermath of their struggle for survival.
